Rating: - But Worth the Watch
Typical and transparent plot but you get to see more of Mr. Moore!!!
Rating: - Actors strong effort can't save film from its bad script.
Never 2 Big or "Butter" as it is also known had a lot going for it. A strong cast great production values and an interesting premise. It had the potential to be a great movie about the dark side of the music business. The entire cast gives strong performances, Especially Ernie Hudson as the evil record mogul. Rating: - To hot to handle
Shemar was excellent in this movie,he really showed the viewers that he's not just another pretty face. Although I wish that him and Nia long got more romantically involved in the film. (He also looked especially good when he got out of the shower). God bless America.
Rating: - My Ratings on "Never 2 Big (Butter)"
I loved this movie. Nia Long is one of my favorite actresses and Shemar Moore is one of my favorite actors. The movie had a good plot and it didn't have a lot of violence in it. We need to have more black movies like "Butter".
Rating: - Action Packed With Terrific Actors
After reading the other Amazon reviews on this movie I seriously considered cancelling my order. I'm glad I didn't. Although the plot contained some implausible moments & Shemar Moore was out of his acting depth in one crying scene, I really enjoyed this movie from beginning to end and I am not sorry I ordered it. The movie is so good I would like to lend it to friends...but Shemar is SO FINE in it that I'd probably never get it back!!! Thanks, Amazon.
