Handy book that be with you all the time containing everything you need in nearly everything needed in trauma orthopedics.

Rating: - Must have trauma pocket book
I am currently working at a busy level 1 trauma center and constantly use this book for major aspects in orthopedic trauma management. The book is summarizes high yield point in adult and pediatric orthopedic traumatology in a concise yet complete manner.

Many important topics in this book are presented
not in a cutting edge manner and the stuff can
easily be found in all standard text;
Newest topics in trauma like minimal invasive
surgery, computer aided surgery, new AO thinking
that everyone doing trauma is talking about these days
not covered or grossly inadequate

Important key topics like new plating systems, ilizarov,
newer EF, CAOS, periprosthetic # have either been not discussed or done too inadequately
May be good only for medical students
