Rating: - Review by 6-year surgical floor nurse
I have a new job as a nurse practitioner working with GI surgeons in a hospital setting. I think the book described surgery basics, but there was very little new information for me. I also bought "Surgery On Call" and found this book to be better suited to my needs.
Rating: - Excellent book for surgery clerkship
This is an excellent book to carry with you during your rotation in surgery. Not only does the book provide organized and concise information on every topic in general surgery but it also provides concise explantation on how to perform common procedures. Excellent book that I would recommend to anyone on surgery to carry around in their white coat.
