Rating:  - No really, you can master french vocabulary
This book is excellent. Words are grouped according to subject and examples are given to illustrate possible differences in their use in a sentence.
Rating: - very useful if you know IPA
I love this book because it is one of the few books that has vocab in the IPA system. So if you've studied phonetics and IPA, you can know how to pronounce any word in French! Your vocabulary and pronunciation will really improve if you study this book.

I was hoping for a book with a great deal of vocabulary in a reading-friendly format. This book is really just lists of vocabulary sorted by catergory to be used as a reference guide, rather than a vocab builder. If that's what you want, it provides a good volume of words and phrases.

I like that this book presents vocabulary by thematic groups. I think that it's easier to learn and retain by topic.

I bought it allmost by mistake,cause i thought,well i don't
need another Vocubalry book,But this one is excellent
you can see that alot of hard work were put into it,
the examples are great!, i learnt alot of it and would like
to recommand it to other who are learnning french.
