Editorial Review:The ultimate set for Boynton fans, here are four of her seriously silly bestselling board books in their own sturdy boxed set. Full-color illustrations.
Artist Sandra Boynton has been charming adults for decades with her whimsical, animal-centric greeting cards and her droll sense of humor. When Boynton transferred her weirdly wonderful critters to board books for babies, she made publishing history. These short, hilarious books are perfectly suited to toddler tastes, with their small size, few words, cheerful colors, funny jokes, and silly animals. Blue Hat, Green Hat is all about getting dressed, and stars a very silly turkey who just doesn't get it. (Feet in the hat, pants on the head, etc.) His continuing refrain is "Oops." Moo, Baa, LA LA LA! investigates the sounds animals make, including pigs who sing. Doggies is "a counting and barking book" about the many sounds dogs can make, and A to Z frolics through the alphabet with amusing animal antics from an aardvark admiring to a zebra zigzagging. Parents love Boynton as much as kids do, and these four books in a compact boxed set will no doubt become household favorites! (Baby to age 3) --Marcie Bovetz

Average Rating: out of 5 stars

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great for kids...and adults
Kids should like the "silly-ness" and rhyming of the books, and their cute illustrations, while Boynton's humor is clever / ironic for adults as well.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Perfect for kids
We got this for our pre-one year old and he loves them. He loves to read books, but wants to do it himself. He is able to hold these books, they aren't too heavy and also don't rip! The stories are funny and good for kids of all ages. Would definitely buy again.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great baby present. It is small and sturdy and you can leave it in the car to read anytime anyplace. My children loved all these
This is a great boxed set of hardcovered books by the delightful children's author Sandra Boynton. They are funny and books that will be memorized and read over and over. You and your child will love them. They make a great portable book and a great gift.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - love these books
I love to give these books as baby gifts because they are darling even my teenagers still like them and it's never too early to read to a child!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great Collection
These books are educational and fun. I bought these books for my 18 month old grandson. He likes them because the pictures are colorful and the amount of words per page are just enough. He likes to turn the pages as they are read and if a book has too many words per page he turns before you finish reading. My 6 year old grandson also likes to read them. Great value also.
