It's the weirdest alien invasion ever!
"I cannot tell a lie," says Rod Allbright. And it's the truth. Ask him a question, and he's bound to give you an honest answer. Which is why when his teacher asks what happened to last night's math assignment, Rod has to give the only answer he can: "Aliens ate my homework, Miss Maloney!"
Of course, no one believes Rod this time, so they don't bother to ask him why the aliens are here -- which is just as well, since he is sworn to silence about their secret mission; and the fact that he has been drafted to help them.

Rating: out of 5 stars - A clever mix of humor, fantasy, and a little intergalactic fun that can't be missed!
Sixth-grader Rod Allbright hasn't had it easy ever since his father left. His mother has been forced to pick up the pieces of his disappearance, and work to support the family. With Rod's mother working so much, Rod has had to talk on more responsibility than the normal twelve-year-old usually needs to shoulder, such as looking after his three-year-old twin siblings, Linda (Thing One) and Eric (Thing Two). Acting like the man of the house, however, isn't Rod's biggest problem. His biggest problem ... Read More

Rating: out of 5 stars - Great Book
For quirky oddballs who like thought-provoking entertainment, this book (as well as its three sequels, "I Left My Sneakers in Dimension X", "The Search for Snout", and "Aliens Stole My Body") is absolutely perfect. Of course it is written with children in mind as the primary audience, but I am certain that adults will derive just as much pleasure from reading it as their diminutive counterparts.

Rating: out of 5 stars - Great
This was a very good book. I read it in one 2 hour space one afternoon. I just couldnt put it down, but somebody said that the others in the I Was a Sixth Grade Alien series are better, so I want to try them out too. I would highly recommend this book, and hope that you will enjoy it!

Rating: out of 5 stars - BORING BOOK
The book was good but not as good as the other Bruce Coville has written. "Aliens ate my homework" is entertaining but I think it would have been better if it was a lot more about the aliens not Rod's problems. The climax was almost like another little conflict in the book. This book wasn't a very good book. I suggest you read another book besides this one.

The author doesn't put a lot of stuff that can interest you. He'll jump from Rod getting hurt to the school project and just entertains ... Read More

Rating: out of 5 stars - A thrilling book
