This is definitely an introductory book; it assumes no previous knowledge of computing at all, which is somewhat annoying for those of us who aren't complete neophytes, as we have to wade though pages of descriptions of the most basic of information before we can get to the information that we need to know. But as it is DESIGNED as an introductory book, this is necesary, and it is unfair to complain of a book because it does what it sets out to do, rather than what I need. For those, like me, with ...
