Rating: out of 5 stars - I love Aahz and Skeeve!
Aahz and Skeeve have been favorites of mine since my cousin gave me the first 4 books for my 12th or 13th birthday, anytime I could find a new book I was happy

Rating: out of 5 stars - Testing the waters
This book seems to be a test of whether or not Jody Lynn Nye and Robert Asprin can work together. This collection of short stories are a fun read (just like any other "Myth" book), but I found that a few of them ended abruptly and seemed to lack a planned arc of how thy were going to get to that ending.

My jury's still out on whether or not this Nye/Asprin pairing is a good one. But I'm thrilled to have "Myth" books published at a much more rapid pace than I grew up with.

Rating: out of 5 stars - I'm DONE with Myth after this pablum.
I don't pick up Myth books planning to waste my time on a collection of pages with words on them.
Asprin presented fresh characters that breathed for me but the group of dopplegangers that showed up for this tome have had the wind knocked out of them.

This book doesn't stink, but it's NOT inspiring. It is thoroughly unworthy of the Asprin of old.
So much so, I can't take the chance reading another.

Part of the problem may be the bastardization of the series ... Read More

Rating: out of 5 stars - Forget these new Myth books
These new Myth books are pure garbage. Readers are better off reading the original series and completly disregard these co-authored pap.

Rating: out of 5 stars - Something's mything
Asprin, now with a co-author, presents a set of short stories set in the world of "Another Fine Myth." Skeeve, the central character of the early books in this series, is absent from all but a few of these shorts. Instead most of the stories are told first-person by one of the other characters, including Ahhz the Pervect (that's -ect, not -ert) and even Gleep. The stories are all amusing, and I found Nye's collaboration with Asprin to be quite seamless.

The freshness seems to be off ... Read More
