Rating:  - The rating doesn't lie. Definately one of his best !
I loved it. It has that Terminator, Sliders, Quantum Leap feel to it. I put this book alongside "Intensity, Hideaway, and Odd Thomas" as one of his best.

What would you do if you could move through time and create the ideal future? Here is one take.
One of the things I really liked about this book is that I have lived in many of the areas where the story unfolds, and even came down from Big Bear by way of a dirt road....it's more of a deer track than a road, but still....

Laura's life harms her over and over again. At least it would if it weren't for her guardian. She's known him ever since she was eight, but she doesn't know that she was already saved by him at birth.
Unfortunately, her guardian's interest in her draws attention from his enemy, who works to harm or kill Laura for no other reason than that her guardian seems to care for her. Well, and because he just likes killing people.

Lightning is about a girl named Laura Shane, who when she is young has an amzing father who means more to her than anybody in the world.
