Rating: - Mostly a Good Read, though Implausible
This is the 2nd of 5 books I will ever read by Koontz. I think I've read about enough by him, now.
There are some good characters, including the dog, Einstein. The villain is despicable. It turns my stomach to read what he does to people, and it is a shame that Koontz puts some sick ideas out there for people.
I found it odd that Koontz seems to dwell on this concept of animals (dogs, actually) being trained to be thinking beings. By chance, I first read FEAR NOTHING, ... Read More
Rating: - Einstein VS Frankenstein
Bravo to Koontz on a brilliant effort. I felt very emotionally involved with the characters, even the minor ones. If you like this book, and I believe you will, pick up Mary Shelley's Frankenstein if you have not read it. Both examinations of human involvement in nature's work provide wonderful food for thought. Koontz' work is a more engaging book but it is interesting to see that these moral issues are not as new as we might think.
Rating: - Best Koontz Ever!!
This is my favorite Koontz book as of yet.
Check it out. I dont want to give anything away.
You'll love it!!

Put a killer baboon into this mix, and you pretty much have the premise to the Watchers. Yes I'm being serious.
If this thoughtful plot wasn't enough to keep you engaged, then surely the Shakesperianesque communications will seize your attention, as ... Read More
Rating: - A very good novel, but not one of his ABSOLUTE best ...
There has too be a cutoff, if "Intensity, Hideaway, and Lightning" novels are 5 stars in my opinion, then "Watchers" is a 4 star.
