Rating: - Disappointing compared to Guide to Pregancy and First Year
I LOVED THE GIRLFRIENDS' GUIDE TO PREGNANCY AND GUIDE TO THE FIRST YEAR. She was so real and easy to relate to. After reading all of the prescribed books for new mommies, I found her first two books to not only be helpful but also humorous. When purchasing the first two for a pregnant Girlfriend, I ordered the GUIDE TO GETTING YOUR GROOVE BACK for myself. Yes, I could relate to her experiences except for the "family bed." When I "Ferberized" my daughter at 3 months old, it stuck, thank God! ... Read More
Rating: - the prefect book for moms
After reading her guild o pregnancy, I had to get this one. It is a funny and candid book on what life is REALLY like with little ones. It offers good advice on how to find YOURSELF again after your done with the diapers and sleepless nights. Great Book!
Rating: - For more "advanced" moms
I think this would be a great book, but I feel it spoke more to moms who are done having kids and have older kids. This is just my take on it. I have one child and one on the way, so it didn't appeal to me as much as I thought it would. I mean, although I'm not done having kids, I still want to "get my groove back"! :-)

Am I the only woman alive whose husband truly cherishes his role as a father? Even worse, I put 2 and 2 together and realized the man in question is none other then THE Jimmy Iovine, famous producer. Is THAT how she was able to get this drivel published? I agree with the previous reviewer who noted the ... Read More
Rating: - Vicki is at it again.
I have read all of her books. Her humorous writing has helped to save my sanity during the mommy years. Her brutal honesty about raising children is much appreciated in a society that fails to acknowledge the true challenge that parenting is.
