Rating: out of 5 stars - unbeleiveible contrasting personality
It is really intresting book. A person who started struggling to live like an ordinary man became a legend of his time in the "Afro-American commuinity". He rejected his slavery name and adopted the unknow letter "X" as a faimly name. For the first time in the human history such a strange event occured, that a leader rejected his name openly. The hero of the "Afor_Americans" was not liked by the white community, because of his extream thoughts of "the Nation of Islam". Anyway this was he who, after ... Read More

Rating: out of 5 stars - his own story, unfiltered
This book is his own side of the story and is among the most readable of autobiographies. I feel it is important to read this book because it concerns the life of someone who undergoes the most extreme of metamorphoses. Rating: out of 5 stars - Book that will aspire you
This is a book that will change you,he is a legend that has risen to highest levels, and will be remembered for all time.
It is not the case that everyone should read this book, but everyone MUST read this book. This is a man who dedicated his life to fight the cancer of racism...and it is racism that killed him.
But his light is too bright to diminish, you will get to experience it when you read it...happy reading

Rating: out of 5 stars - One man's struggle for freedom
Alex Haley and Malcom X weave the story of a lifetime of struggle. X's account of his life is so compelling that it has caused people of all races and creeds to question the way that they have been living their lives.
Malcom X started off in Michigan, where he was discriminated against mildly, and overall well-liked. He got along fine with whites whom he knew. However, one of his English teachers scoffed at his faked vision of becoming a lawyer. X soon moved to Boston to live with his half sister. ... Read More
