This book has helped me understand the fundamentals of interpreting reseqarch papers in the Communicative Sciences. Well written and easy reading for us less technical types. Short chapters make reading more enjoyable. You can give a chapter an initial skimming to get a general idea of the concepts and come back to it later for a more in depth reading. Has helped me quite a bit.
