I have taken well over 200 hours of college course work, most which are in the sciences -- this is by far the worst text book I've ever owned. It's rife with errors and inconsistencies. It has no supplemental resources for the student. The figures and illustrations are often unclear or incorrect; more often than not, they do NOT help the reader understand the concept.
