Editorial Review: Michael Alan Park's well-paced explanations and inviting tone make Introducing Anthropology a pleasure to read. As the breadth and complexity of the field of anthropology has increased, most texts for introductory-level, general anthropology courses have become longer, but this concise book offers a tightly managed amount of detail in an accessible, student-friendly format. The unique holistic approach focuses on the integration of the biocultural nature, evolution, and behavior of the human species.

Alan Park is great. He wrote this text very nicely and it was very comprehensible. Two thumbs up.
Rating: - A lot of Evolution...
Being a Christian, I hated this book. I needed to read it for collage, but found it a complete waste of time! I know alot of people love Anthropology, but I thought it was a complete waste of time. Only read this book if you truly believe your ancestors swung through the trees.
