Rating: - mad!!!!
pgs 79-110 are missing and 111-142 are duplicated!!! do not buy this book!!! your going to be really mad when your trying to look up something as important as digoxin and it's not there!
Rating: - Nurses pocket drug guide
This book is very helpful in my job and has more information in 1 book than 3 of my old books put together.
Rating: - convenient, could be better
Convenient for quick reference to look up unknown meds, fits easily in my scrubs pocket, but still missing some newer meds. Also, many are listed by only one name in index, making it harder to find unfamiliar items. Most common drugs are included, however I bought the new version to include new drugs not listed in the older version I had, and was disappointed to find some items I recently looked up were still missing. I could have continued using my 2006 version just as well and saved my money.
Rating: - NURSES POCKET DRUG GUIDE 2008
I WAS REALLY EXCITED WHEN I ORDERED IT TO RECEIVE IT. WHEN I GOT IT, I WAS HAPPY UNTIL I TRIED TO LOOK UP A DRUG THAT STARTED WITH A "D". MY BOOK CAME WITH PAGES 79-110 MISSING AND A REPEAT OF PAGES 111-142. THIS MAKES IT HARD TO LOOK UP SOME OF THE DRUGS STARTING WITH C-E. IT WOULD BE A GREAT BOOK IF IT WAS COMPLETE. I'VE WRITTEN AMAZON AND HAVE HAD NO RESPONSE TO REPLACE IT. KRIS SHIELDS RN
Rating: - Helpful Tool
I'm happy with my purchase, but I think that maybe if it had a spiral binding it could possibly be an easier tool to access. I located a similar reference guide with a spiral binding and I found it to be much easier to handle especially when you're looking up more than one drug. That is my ONLY complaint because it's still a great tool to have that fits perfectly in my pocket.
